In 2020 a group of former airline executives, CEO’s, Chief Operating Officers, Managing Directors and Presidents of US Major, regional, charter and cargo airlines acquired all of the assets of USAerotech, a former AMT training facility, and relocated the school to Lakeland, Florida and renamed it International AeroTech Academy.

International AeroTech Academy obtained it’s first FAA part 147 operating certificate to teach the General and Airframe portion of the FAA AMT curriculum in October of 2022. We obtained the FAA operating certificate to teach the Powerplant portion of the FAA AMT curriculum in May of 2023.

International AeroTech Academy is part of a larger organization which is comprised of four other companies here in Lakeland, FL.   It is now a sister company of International Aero Academy, an FAA certified part 141 flight school, International Aero Charters, an FAA part 135 certified Air Carrier operating on demand air charters and International Aero Maintenance, an FAA certified part 145 certified repair station.
